Dreams do not come easily, a lot of suffering is involved, but life is also short.
The only way to maintain a moderate sum of happiness in this life, is not to worry too much about the future.
Life is tough. The best analogy is it's a boxing match where you get knocked down a lot, and there is a lot of pain, but you have to keep picking yourself up and fighting back. There will be tremendous obstacles in whatever you do. Some rounds you will win, some you won't, but you have to keep going the distance. The fear of failure is a powerful thing, it prevents us from doing a lot of things in life so you have to almost embrace failure and learn from it.
For anyone who has put their dreams on hold, you can find a way. No matter how impossible the dream seems try not to get discouraged by your initial failures and disappointment, there will be a lot of them. There will also be a lot of critics and naysayers, some are genuinely concerned about you, some are not, there is a lot of negativity in this world, jealousy and people ready to tear you apart, but don't lose heart, never lose your fighter spirit and if you pursue something for the right reason, you will be unstoppable.
I have a tendency to throw myself into stressful, extremely challenging situations, a trial by fire sort of thing. It sounds a little crazy, but I think you can only evolve and learn when pushing the envelope. There is truth to the saying, "What does not kill you, only makes you stronger!"
